Serving Morrow, GA

The Kia Sorento is the midsize crossover SUV that you have been searching for. It provides you with three rows of seating, excellent features, and a modern style that you will love showing off every time you get behind the wheel. At Kia Atlanta South, our customers often ask us about the differences between the 2019 and 2020 model years. With several important changes to focus on, you may want to check out the two model years and their trims in person at our dealership soon.

Performance

The 2019 Kia Sorento is available in seven trim options, and the EX and SX Limited trims are removed for the 2020 model year. On a trim-by-trim basis, the Sorento's performance capabilities are identical for both years. The first two trims receive 185 horsepower from a 2.4-liter, I-4 engine connected to a six-speed auto transmission. The top trims are loaded with a 3.3-liter, V6 engine that generates 290 horsepower with an eight-speed auto transmission. All trims are equipped with front-wheel drive, a Sportmatic gear shifter, motor-driven power steering, anti-locking brakes, stabilizers in the front and rear, rear dampers, front coil springs, and other equipment.

Appearance

The 2020 Kia Sorento shows off minor styling improvements, and these extend to the modern lights and the redesigned bumpers at the front and rear. Across the 2019 and 2020 model years, the Sorento has a bow-style grille, deep contouring throughout the sides, a modified skid plate in the front, and other exterior style elements. The Sorento's many exterior features that vary slightly by trim include up to 19-inch wheels, sound-absorbing glass, a power moonroof, smart welcome, a smart power liftgate, programmable height for the liftgate, fog lights, power-folding and heated side mirrors, privacy glass, and many other features.

Features

The interior style, materials, and features across the five trim levels for the 2020 Sorento are comparable to those in the 2019 model year. Some of the many features that you will appreciate as you cruise through the Atlanta area in your 2019 or 2020 Sorento include a wireless phone charger, a voice-command navigation system, SiriusXM satellite tech, a rear or surround-view monitor, smart device integration, powered front seat adjustments, mounted steering wheel controls, remote keyless entry, a push-button ignition, engine immobilization, a multi-zone climate control system, easy access to the third row and many additional items.
