The 2025 Kia Sorento is a small three-row SUV with fantastic road manners and a practical, comfortable cabin. It has two powertrain options, off-roading gear on the top trim, and a wide range of standard features on the base trim and up.
Room to Get Comfortable
The Sorento has two spacious rows that can accommodate adults and a third row that’s perfect for kids. The first two rows have just over 41 inches of legroom, and the third row has 29.6 inches of it. The driver and front seat passenger have 40.3 inches of headroom in models with no sunroof and 38.7 inches of it with a sunroof present. The second row has 39.1/37.9 inches of headroom, and the third row has 36.8 inches of headroom in all models.
You’ve got just over 55 inches of hip room in the first row, while third-row passengers have 42.5 inches of it. The first two rows have close to 60 inches of room, and there are 53 inches of shoulder room in the third row.
Space to Transport Plenty
The spacious Sorento also has plenty of room inside for transporting cargo, whether it’s your everyday essentials or larger items you’ll travel with less often. The normal cargo area holds 12.6 cubic feet worth of luggage, but the third row can be folded down to increase the cargo space to 45 cubic feet in size. When you fold down the second row too, you expand the cargo area to 75.5 cubic feet.
Features to Keep You Secure
There are 10 assistance features in all trims and several additional ones available in different trims. Features you’ll find in every Sorento include Safe Exit Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning with Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, and Blind Spot Collision Warning – Parallel Exit.
The S trim and up have Park Distance Warning in the front and rear. Features available in some trims include a Blind-Spot View Monitor, Surround View Monitor, and Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go Curve. Together, the vehicle’s standard safety features make sure you’re always paying attention to the road, can exit your vehicle safely, remain in your lane, and receive warnings about potential hazards.
Standard and Supreme Comfort
Every Sorento has an adjustable driver’s seat. It’s 6-way adjustable in the base trim, while the next five trims have a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 2-way lumbar support. The top two trims have a driver’s seat with 14-way power adjustability, 4-way lumbar support, and 2-way power thigh extension for supreme comfort and extra leg support.
