The EV6 is a new option in the Kia lineup for 2022, bringing the entire appeal of an all-electric crossover SUV with a range of luxuries and technologies you want in your next vehicle. For 2022, the EV6 is offered in four impressive trim levels. These trim levels vary by their capabilities as well as their features. What can you expect from each of the trim options?

2022 Kia EV6 Light (RWD)

The 2022 Kia EV6 Light has a rear-mounted, 167-horsepower electric motor and a range of 232 miles. You will find 19-inch alloy wheels and heated and power-folding side mirrors on its exterior. In addition, the Light trim level has cloth and faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a dual-zone climate management system, driver’s side memory functions, a digital instrumentation panel, smart device integration, a wireless hotspot, a wireless charging station, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, satellite radio, and a navigation system. All EV6 trim levels have safety gear like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, forward collision mitigation, and a blind-spot monitor.

2022 Kia EV6 Wind (RWD or e-AWD)

The Wind is available with two powertrain configurations. With rear-wheel drive, the Wind comes with a 225-horsepower electric motor. If you opt for all-wheel drive, the Wind adds a front-mounted electric motor for 320 horsepower. This model ranges 310 miles for rear-wheel drive or 274 miles for all-wheel drive. It builds on the Light’s features by adding a heat pump, a vehicle-to-load port, front and rear parking sensors, faux leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a hands-free liftgate, and a 14-speak Meridian audio system. Optional equipment for this trim level includes:

  • Rear automatic braking
  • A blind-spot camera
  • An auto parking system
  • A surround-view camera
2022 Kia EV6 Wind (e-AWD)

2022 Kia EV6 GT-Line (RWD or e-AWD)

The EV6 GT-Line has the same electric motor and drivetrain configurations as in the Wind trim level. All options available for the Wind trim level become standard in the GT-Line. In addition, the GT-Line adds auto lane-change assist, auto-retracting door handles, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a heated steering wheel, and more. Two optional packages add faux suede material and 20-inch wheels to the mix.
